FASD Impacts Us All…
Educators, health care providers, caregivers, social workers, justice system workers, police officers, addictions workers, policy makers, families, friends, neighbours and the list goes on.
ALL pregnant women, and the people who support them, need to receive information about the effects of alcohol use during pregnancy. Friends of a pregnant woman are an integral influence in that person’s life. By encouraging a friend of a pregnant woman to be informed and to adopt the message, we hope to influence the pregnant women to make positive and healthy choices to be alcohol free during her pregnancy.
How can you help someone with FASD?
The more we know about people with FASD the more we will be able help them learn and be the best they can be. Talk to people who have FASD and let them tell you what will help them.
